Details

Canine Imagery sessions can take place anywhere. For a location outside of our core locations, please contact us to discuss travel options.

Each session will result in 10-20 final photographic pieces for you to choose from. Almost all of my clients opt for wall art or wall galleries, with most investing between $700 and $1000 in their artwork.

Have questions?

  • My dog needs to be leashed most of the time, is that a problem?
Majority of the dogs I photograph stay on leash. The only time they would be offered to go off-leash is when we’re working in a fenced-in area but it is always an option. It is always up to you if you feel your dog does well at recall and it is always based on you and your dog's comfort level.
  • Where do we do the session? What is the location for it?
I am always looking for a new spot and the most important thing is to make sure it fits your dog and you as well! If you need any help I do have favorite spots here in Michigan! *born and raised here so I know a lot of good spots!
  • Can I be in the photographs?
Of course! Actually, this is a hill I will lovingly go to. I want everyone to be in at least a few photos with your dog. The experience I offer is to capture the connection YOU have with your dog. Your relationship deserves to be documented! If you are nervous or do not like your photo being taken...don't worry I got you! I’ll help you every step of the way, from choosing your style to guiding you into each pose that makes you look and feel wonderful.  If you do not like to get your photograph taken, I have several poses that do not involve you smiling at the camera.  If you’re extremely camera shy, there are plenty of creative ways to show off your bond while keeping the focus on your pup. You do not need to purchase any imagery that you do not love!
  • How do I book you for a competition?
I am so glad you want me to capture your amazing pup on your special day. All you need to do is Check out my Canine Champion Inquiry Form to get started!
  • Do I have to be at a competition for you to capture my dog in its athletic form?
No, I am happy to capture your dog at a park, at practice, or in your backyard. Please fill out the Canine Winner form and we can get planning!
  • What happens if it rains?
Most of the sessions we do are outside if the weather doesn’t cooperate with us, we may need to reschedule. I’ll be monitoring the weather a few days ahead of our session and will be in touch if rescheduling is in order.
  • More questions about Canine Imagery & Canine Champions, Can we chat?
Yes, no problem at all! We can always set up an inquiry call if you have any questions. Fill out the inquiry form to book your consultation or you can give me a call at (810)813-5888 Also, check out the blog post about the Canine Champion experience.
  • My pooch is camera shy
No worries! I have worked with several dogs that are not photogenic. I do have years of experience working with scared, shy, and nervous dogs. We work at your dog's pace so there is no rush in your dog's behavior.
  • When do you have Mini Sessions?
I have mini sessions for holidays and seasons to allow us to create a fun and small experience together. Join my waitlist to jump on the opportunity to work with me!
  • Can I have more than 1 dog in my photos?
Absolutely! Add on additional pets to your Canine Imagery session is an additional fee for each.
  • What does the slideshow I receive mean?
The slideshow is in video format and is created to showcase the experience on a fantastic day. This will show you your artwork created from the session.
  • What are Mutt Movies?
Mutt Movies are short films created to tell your canines story. This can be added to any session or can be done all on its own.
  • I want to book you for a competition but isn't in Michigan
No problem. I do travel for competitions!
  • I'd love to book a session but my dog is older.
I am so sorry to hear that. This part of the canine journey just sucks. I have been in that situation many times in my life & I know how heartbreaking it is and how quickly things can happen. Please let me know when we chat so we can get started on this process. *just know I’ll do everything I can to alter my schedule to fit you in any way I can*
  • I am getting a puppy can I book ahead of schedule?
Yes, that is such an amazing plan. I book up very fast with Canine Imagery sessions so when you book ahead you get first dibs on the day and time.  Please fill out the Puppy Canine Imagery form and we can get planning!
  • How long do sessions last?
The Canine Imagery is an hour & a half. If you would like to add more time to extend your adventure I am more than happy to extend. There is a small fee for extending your time.
  • I want to do a Canine Imagery Session in another state. Do you travel?
No problem. I do travel for my clients. You have two options; 1) You can book me any time of the year for your photoshoot, you will need to cover the travel costs. We can discuss the details in our consultation.  2) I will be posting on social when I am traveling and you can schedule your booking when I travel for another client or competition. I can also contact you when I am heading your way to ensure you can book me.
  • I'm ready to book, now what?
I'm so glad to hear! now let's start creating your experience and artwork! Great! Whether you want to chat first or are ready to dive right in, the first step is to click the Contact TAB at the top of this site and fill in your details. Once that is completed I will send you an invite to a video call with me. This is just to see if we are a good fit for one another and see we want to work together
  • What's the refund policy with digitals and digital products?
As is common with digital products the Digitals you purchase during Canine Imagery or Canine Champions packages are non-refundable.
